The Second Book of Zinlin
Growth gives birth to disruption and disruption gives birth to growth.
To confront an issue is to expose oneself to disruption. This may be very uncomfortable. To hold an issue without confronting it, though, is to waste energy, and eventually to become stunted.
Sometimes, in confronting an issue we discover the issue is a fiction or, at most, something far less fearsome or important than we had feared.
Sometimes, in confronting an issue, we are led to a deeper, more difficult and painful issue than the issue we saw first.
Sometimes in confronting an issue we thought was outside of us, we find the issue really lies mainly within ourselves and it is we who need correcting.
Always, to see and confront an issue is the first necessary step to healing, or to a good decision or change.
In this, The Second Book of Runes, you will have your attention drawn to an aspect of the disruption to your energies that has created the issue or question you come with. You may be surprised that it is an aspect that you had not considered before. The Runes ask you to see a different energy in your issue or question and perhaps hint at an unexpected path to resolution.
Draw your Rune Die and throw it now to reveal the Rune that speaks to the nature of your issue or question. Your task is to relate your Rune interpretation to the disruption behind the issue or question which you bring to the Rune Reading, in a manner of helpfulness and wisdom.
