Book 4 - Blue Star
Regulation and integration of behaviour, thoughts and feelings, maturation of beliefs and values (especially those to do with conventions, rules and relationships with authority), understanding of pace, timeliness and timelessness, combined with success, achievement, recognition. With your eye to your inner self, consider the following. There are many measures of success, as you know. Your contribution to your issue or question may have something to do with the value you place on the successes you have achieved or the ambivalence of your feelings about your successes. You are perhaps questioning the relationship between well-measured self-regulation and achievement - should success sometimes come from impulse and inspiration? Should it not sometimes come easily? You may yearn to express other qualities in you, the capacity to be light, frivolous, entertaining, or to be passionate and outspoken about a political cause, or an artistic or spiritual pursuit.Your part in creating your issue or question may arise from having failed to be diligent, mature, accommodating of conventions, and thereby having put some form of success out of reach.Although you need to attend to issues of your integrity and ageing in becoming or remaining successful, it may be helpful to measure yourself in the light of other energies. Observe the sensations of your body and mind when you consider giving more or giving less expression to your physical or sexual energy and appetites, and your enjoyment of material things; your ability to think clearly and detached from emotions; your emotions and their ability to know and flow towards the good; your capacity for transcendence, synergy, spirituality. One of these energies may be the key to future success.Close your eyes now, and with a view to experiencing greater success, through your capacities for self-regulation, your mature beliefs and values and capacity to relate to others' beliefs and values, your sensitivity to timeliness, your understanding and acceptance of your ageing process and understanding of the timelessness of fundamental truths, ask yourself -“What words would be right and helpful for me to say, or for me to hear another say, right now?” “What does that mean to me, what is that about?” “What does that say about the things I value and really want in my life?” “What does that say about who I am?”
